Many injuries and sore areas can be attributed to poor posture.  This includes sitting at a desk, walking, standing, driving, etc.  Here are some tips especially good for sitting at your workstation.

  • Sit all the way to the back of the chair so your back is supported
  • Keep your feet flat on the floor.  If you cannot reach the floor, use a footrest.
  • Arm rests should be set so that your forearm can be placed on them easily with a slight bend at the elbow.  This will limit shoulder and neck strain.
