Classical Pilates Teacher

Nina Milczarek

Nina is proud to be called a fourth-generation classical Pilates teacher and strives to keep the method true to the source through the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska and Joseph Pilates. She has more than 1,200 hours of hands-on experience to help guide you toward your goals, whatever they may be.

Nina believes that Pilates is for everybody and every body. Pilates is accessible to everyone, whether you are someone overcoming an injury or health issues, a high-performance athlete, or an average person looking to strengthen your body. Pilates will help you move and feel better – from the inside out.
After sustaining injuries from highland dance, Nina discovered classical Pilates as part of her injury rehabilitation and immediately fell in love with it – it was fun, felt good, AND helped her recover. She became stronger than she had ever been in her twelve-year dancing career and pursued Pilates teacher training. It was evident that the Pilates system works, and she wanted to share this with others.
In 2017, she began her Mat Plus Teacher Training under Cara Hazelton at Authentic Pilates Canada. She enjoyed working with athletes experiencing the same struggles. Still, she wanted more and knew that exploring the entire Pilates system would bring exactly that, and that’s when she decided to complete the Comprehensive Teacher Training program in 2019 with Authentic Pilates Canada.

Outside of the studio, Nina completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa in June, 2023. She is fascinated by the human body and movement and hopes to continue her education in the field of physiotherapy. Aside from Pilates, she loves cooking and good food, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her pets!
