Emma is passionate about her work and shows a keen interest in treatments that help her patients achieve their goals in their daily activities or in their sports.
Her therapeutic approach uses a combination of interventions based on the needs and goals of the patient. Thus, she will use manual treatments, acupuncture, Gua Sha (cupping) but also a program of active exercises to obtain an optimal result.
Emma has a PhD in Physiotherapy (DPT) from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, while playing NCAA Division I in the Women’s Hockey League.
Since becoming a physiotherapist, she has been strengthening her clinical knowledge through postgraduate courses. She has obtained a certification in acupuncture and practice the technique of trigger points. She also has a certified training in manual therapy (CMT).
